DTM Norisring

The Norisring is situated in the middle of Nuremberg. The action and extraordinary flair of this city race lures droves of spectators each year into the city with its world-famous "Christkindl Markt". Between races fans are treated to a wide range of traditional delicacies, while drivers and teams retire to the large and idyllically situated drivers’ camp by the Dutzend pond, where fans also mingle. The party throbs late into the night throughout the drivers’ camp and in the tents on the fields. Lively parties stir up an atmosphere similar to that of the Formula 1 GP in Monaco. The cars naturally take centre stage on race day. The locals have taken to following the race from comical homemade stands. Each stand has its own charm since you can be close to the action everywhere. The big attraction is the singular stone grandstand right by the start-finish straight.
